PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Rian comes to us with 10 years of experience in the compost world. A good chunk of that time was spent running his company Mr. Fox Composting. In that time, they diverted over 8 million pounds of food waste from the landfill and returned that soil from his compost facility back to the schools, restaurants, residents, and cafes they worked with. The business under new ownership is still going strong on the seacoast of Maine/NH to this day. He received his certificate of ability through Maine Compost School and is certified as permaculture teacher & designer through the Urban Permaculture Guild of San Francisco.

RIAN AFTER WORK: In his spare time, Rian enjoys working on vintage cars & motorcycles, hanging with his 3 sons and wife, and taking care of his 16 hens and Tony the rooster.
