Alexandra Nichols

“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” -Jane Goodall

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Prior to joining Northstar, Alexandra worked in the healthcare field as a Registered Dietitian. In addition to providing medical nutrition therapy services, she worked on many process improvement initiatives with her nutrition team and created standards of care for her patient populations. Though she is grateful for her experience within the healthcare field, Alexandra spent her final semester of her M.P.A. program studying climate change, food waste and waste diversion practices, which intensified her interest in environmental health and sustainability. She was thrilled to join the Northstar team, where she can help clients reach their recycling goals, while simultaneously contributing to a more sustainable future.

EDUCATION: Master’s in Public Administration, Marist College; B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics, SUNY Oneonta

Alexandra AFTER WORK: Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys running, hiking, reading and going on adventures with her husband and their dog, Duke.
