Funke Ogunniya

The natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.– David Attenborough

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Prior to joining Northstar, Funke was a Clinical Data Analyst where she collected and analyzed large volumes of data to make sense of population health outcomes. While at Emory University, she worked with the Office of Sustainability Initiatives to coordinate events and translate foundational sustainability knowledge to students. She spent her summers away from school on trips to assist in implementing public health programs in India, Nigeria, and the US. These experiences reified her understanding of the linkages between sustainability and health. Funke is excited to combine her two passions in her role here at Northstar to create a healthier environment, and consequently a healthier population.

EDUCATION: B.A. Public Health, Emory University

FUNKE AFTER WORK: Outside of work, Funke enjoys trying new recipes, thrifting, cycling, and binge-watching tv shows with her friends.
