PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Tom joined Northstar with a background in Corporate Sustainability and the Recycling industries, having advised multinational corporations on assessing emissions and reducing waste through innovative solutions. Tom is excited to combine his lifelong passion for zero waste, his meticulous research skills, and knowledge of industrial environmental management to find innovative, sustainable, and economical materials management solutions for clients.
EDUCATION: B.A. in Social Studies, Harvard University; Master of Environmental Management, Specialization in Industrial Ecology and Green Design, Yale University; Animal Food Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI)
TOM AFTER WORK: Tom enjoys most of all spending time with his wife (Julie), particularly going on adventures, making crafts, (helping with) cooking, playing with their parrot Kiwi, and exploring New Haven (where they live). He also likes ping-pong, ultimate Frisbee, kayaking, cycling, board games, origami, and podcasts.
